Who we are

Dawamy is a time tracking service for employers and freelancers working remotely. This policy explains what data we collect when you use Dawamy at dawamy.live and app.dawamy.live, and how we use it.

Data we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address, selected role (employer or freelancer), and language preference. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile and email address to create and identify your account.
  • Work data: projects, contracts, invitations, tracked time sessions, notes, reports, and invoices you create.
  • Activity proof: optional screenshots and activity samples captured only while a timer is running and only after you grant permission in your browser.
  • Technical data: minimal logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use data

We use your data solely to provide the service: authenticating you, recording and displaying tracked hours, sharing reports and invoices with the counterparties you choose, and sending transactional emails such as account confirmations and project invitations. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see your data

Work data is visible to the members of the project it belongs to. An employer can see the tracked hours, notes, and activity proof for their own projects; a freelancer can see everything recorded about their own work. Nothing is shared publicly unless you explicitly generate a share link.

Processors

We rely on infrastructure providers to host the application, database, and file storage, and on an email provider to deliver transactional messages from notify.dawamy.live. These providers process data only on our behalf.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us; screenshots and activity samples can be deleted independently of your account.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and access to work data is enforced per user at the database level. Screenshot and file storage is private and accessed only through short-lived authorized links.
